Im contemplating getting a LSD. however I want somewhere where i can drop the car off and let them do the whole lot. What sort of timescale would i be looking at fitting wise. I think im going to go with Quaife.

Any ideas on a price for fitting?

It's quite a big job on these, not a easy job like on most cars that just need the diff housing and driveshafts removing to get diff out.

It's a gearbox out of car and full strip down on these to fit.

You won't see much change from £1500 including buying diff I would guess.

I bought a box with quaife diff in it for £500 but have just bought a box with longer gear ratios so will be transferring it so will update on time scale

Just ask Quaife, there'll be someone near you.

Carbon motive are a Quaife distributor now I think, not sure if they will for it though :/ Gee man has LSD so you could ask him

Building the diff in is a particular skill. Would suggest build into a spare box then swap boxes 'on-the-day'.

Cheers I have messaged Carbon Motive. and have been talking with gee man, not 100 percent sure ima go ahead with it but its the only think i need unless i want to upgrade turbo & camshaft which im definatley not doing

I took my car to AMD and paid £590 for fitting including new bearings etc. it's quoted as 9+hours so it will take them a few days. I dropped mine of on a Saturday and picked it up the following Saturday

It will transform your car - worth doing if you are keeping it

I've been in silkys and fook me it sticks well, you can do stuff you just can't do in a standard car.

£1488 approx. Might try and see if anyone ends up "breaking" or Splitting one and just swap gearboxes,

Unfortunately not, my bad. Just a standard box that you could use to get one fitted
