I popped by my local dealer to get a touch up can for my car (no Halfords or similar in Switzerland really - car DIY is not popular it seems except amongst petrol heads ) and had a browse at the parts lists and prices.

Not too bad!

Things like floor mats and mud flaps very cheap (mud flaps at 7.99 chr a pair) and mats (textile set) at 29.99chf plus several other bits and bobs. When you factor in p&p from overseas the price is actually very competitive (and in some cases cheaper) to buy here.

Well, what do you know.... . Always worth checking the dealer parts bin just in case...

I was joking about the p&p but you highlighted my point - the cost of postage on heavy or bulky items from Switzerland would diminish any possible gain on price.
