Hi guys,to cut a long story short,my vrs was lowerd on springs just -20mm, its just broke a front spring and im no sure what to do! Im thinkn of just buying new standard stuff for it as it is just my everyday runer and i can remember it bein realy cumfy, anyone else on standard suspension?? Thing is, iv got new shocks ther to go on cos they are nackardbut dont want to buy a full spring kit as rest are ok,only year n half old! Anyone seling 2 front lower springs lol

Hi there's been a few standard spring sets kicking around lately, check parts section and people breaking cars. I'm on standard suspension but with a whiteline rarb and front upper and lower braces. For the family and the type of roads I'm usually on I can't fault it really, be nice to go a bit lower but I don't really feel the need and some of the lanes round here would worry me. There are other ways to improve handling markedly on standard suspension, the stuff mentioned, upgrading bushes etc.

It doesn't look high, some modest wheel spacers (5mm front 8mm rear) help fill the arches and improve handling further. I do know that from centre of wheel to arch I'm measuring 350mm both ends. Don't get me wrong it would look a lot better 20mm lower but my bumper gets scuffed as it is. It doesn't look 'wrong' as it is now by any means though.
