My dad specified dealer-fit mud flaps on his Astra - Should he tell his insurance company?

His decision, I've declared mine though if that helps.

I think class 37 should give all us properly insured drivers

Just some info for everyone. I cary out some work for Insurance Loss Assessors (mainly on buildings etc).....on a recent claim the insurance company sent them a CD with the recordings of their Client saying he had not made any previous claims etc - when in fact he had - so they cancelled his insurance, returned his premium and walked away!

The moral of the story is when they say your conversation may be recorded for training purposes etc....it not may it IS and it will be used against you if they can find a way to not pay out

Unfortunately, if it's the other way round and the insurance company has mis-told you something in a previous conversation, the tapes are mysteriously not available/non-existant
