Active Directory Migration has been nothing but a pain in the A**, Weve got like 3000+ Machines, with atleast 1500+ On Windows 95!!!!!, They all have to be patched to get them onto a server 2003 Domain!

Simple solution, replace those old 95 pc's, proberbly more cost effective to do. Also, it maybe better to do that and have all XP/2K machines and can switch the AD Domain from mixed mode to improve security. Win95 has been unsupported by MS for sometime now, I didint think you could download the AD client anymore.

I'd Love to, But Im Not Management and dont make those decisions :( I Wont Name and Shame the Company I Work for, but It's A Major Luton Based Airline (And No It's not Easyjet) but we are replacing them fairly rapidly with brand new XP Boxes, but Windows 95 is still fully compatiable with active directory, and they are easier to migrate as you just run a patch on the machine rather than on the migration server. With Citrix and Web Outlook, The 95 Machines could be considered as thin clients nowadays, but they are still around!!
