When i start up the system says starting up in swedish "systemet startar" and the screen goes gray for up to a minute after this it works. Also the unit froze on me for abput 10 minuters while navigating. Is it time for a update. It's a FL 2 superb approx 1.5 yrs old. Is it time for an upgrade of the Columbus or?

What is the SW version and maps you have installed in your Columbus?

If it's only 1.5 years old I would be back to the dealers and have it checked under warranty. I wouldn't even consider trying updates on a unit that has manufacturers warranty, let them sort out the problems for you.
