vrs mk 1

As a past member I had a mk1 Octavia elegance pd 130 which has long gone but missed.

The thing is that my Son has just changed his old focus for a Fabia pd vrs in yellow with the optional leather interior.

It is an 06 plate with one owner and only 28,000 mls with full Skoda sh.

It really flies and brings back fond memories of my octy.

I got my trusted independent garage to give it a check and was told its a first class motor.

Is there anything my Son should check / look out for other than keep an eye on the oil.

The rear callipers along with disc were replaced just prior to buying it but are silver, what is the green shade and where can he get it, I suppose it has to be heat resistant.

What maintainance manual is best for info on the vrs pd.

Anyhow will post some pics shortly.

Am fairly green with envy as well.
