Okay, some strong opinions here, non positive.oh well can't please everyone. Guess the wrap will create even more opinions.

Yup. But it is your car, so you do what you want mate.

If we all liked one thing we'd all drive a fabia.

Oh. Oh no...

The wife thinks I'm a complete fu*kwit for modifying the car, so even more incentive to do it :notme: , she tells me I should just go and buy an old Skoda and do that up! go figure.

Looking at the vents and the idea, in red and silver, I thought you were about 16, just with more money than sense, Lol.

However, as you later mention a wrap, and possibly different shaped vents, it could possibly work and look ok, or even good.

The pictures as they are with silver and red though, does not suit. Give us a picture of the wrap and you may get a  . Don't hold your breath though :giggle: .

Also think they could be better positioned, possibly horizontal, as viewed from the front. Too close to the edge for me, at least as far as the pictures show.

Unless you know you can place them where the air pressure inside the engine bay is higher than that outside once you're moving, save your time.

Could you turn the vents through 90 dg and move them together, either side of the pressing, towards the top of the bonnet. ? Or is there no room beneath ?

There is nothing to hinder the cuts being made in the central part of the bonnet skin.

The Vents can be placed pretty much anyplace when it is just for the cosmetic look.

This would be a 'fail'.

I'm not holding my breath when I show the wrapped car, as it will evoque some very strong opinions (I would guess mainly bad :p ) but as people have said 'my car, my choice'.  Any vents would always have been painted the same colour as the roof and professionally blended into the bonnet to give  some sort of factory look (one where the designer was on the 110 proof vodka)

Tilt,

Most in the Fabia 2 section of Briskoda know how it can look,

it is just choosing the right vents if this is the look you are after.

Were those pictures from the last get together, as I'm desperately looking for the measurements of those vents, as I would try to replicate them.

On the 1.2 3 Cylinder 70 ps S2000 Look a Like Rally Car ?

Yes it was at Santa Pod.

But just ask the Briskoda Member the measurements of the Vents on his Black Car.

Really just a look a like?

Have done, but will try again.

It looks the part though.

Hmm, looking at that will end in a divorce!

Just one step at a time, Audi A1 Sline interior being collected on Friday (guess my son's getting his wish and the TT seats are going to be gaming seats) funnily enough the wife hasn't noticed the fins on the rear spoiler yet (been there 3 weeks) and she walks past my car every day.
