Swap for something to suit my octavia II 1.9 tdi.

Just spent four hours refurbishing it, stripped, re-dyed (4 coats) resealed with Matt leather sealer (3 coats) Now a lovely finish. Came from a superb the same wheel as the octavia l&k but with cruise control buttons on the left instead of mute.

Hi mate why doesnt that suit the Octavia? If its because you havent got cruise, I can help with some standard buttons on the left....

I have another one exactly the same Adamal. It came off an l&k so already had the left buttons. Couldn't get the cruise working from the steering wheel but not sure if it's because of the steering Controller I had or because I already had a cruise stalk.

Ah ok. It is a nice wheel and looks good fitted I think (I have the same one). It is probably a lowline controller. You need a highline for mfsw, see

I already have a highline mate, the wheel is fitted and works perfectly. I had this one fitted and working in my car but as I said I couldn't get the cruise control working with my car probably due to my controller or already having a cruise stalk. The right side volume etc worked perfectly though. I also have an airbag to fit this but you would need a mfsw airbag loom. I got one for £20 off ebay.

Ah fair enough, got wrong end of stick there. Yeah it probably is because the octavia uses a stalk for CC.
