hi got mk 2 Skoda octavia tdi engine management light came on got cheap diagnostic reader , it comes up with fault code dtco3 , when I erase the the fault it's says on the reader eraseing failed but it knocks light out but it comes back on when you leave it 5 mins and start it up any ideas

Get it scanned using VCDS (other software is available). Plenty of members on here with the kit, failing that take it into a VAG specialist.

Looking for EA888.4+DQ381 Tune Feedback

Hello all, I'm looking for some feedback from those of you who have their EA888.4 ECU and DQ381 TCU tuned. Ideally, from those with the 245 version, although I'll still happily hear out those with similar EA888.3 245/280 models. I'm currently in between two possible solutions: a comprehensive RacingLine OEM+ Stage 1 ECU/TCU tune, versus a combinations of Revo Stage 1 (ECU) and TVS Stage 2+ (TCU). In both scenarios, I'll be aiming for a 95RON, low-torque file, since I'm not only limited by the

Bit of a long shot here. I have very recently bought a 66 plate Superb estate, which came with a steel 16" spare in the boot. It also came with the foam insert and tool kit for the 18" wheel, which obviously doesn't work. Does anyone have the foam insert from an old 16" sat around that they would be prepared to sell? The garage I bought from were not the most helpful, and I don't think that is likely to change any time soon. Cheers in advance.

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens

Not sure if this is linked to me fitting new shocks (see https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/489523-octavia-scout-mk3-rear-suspension/ for details – did go stiffer for towing) or wheel alignment or something weird going on with the Haldex but my Scout has a mildly disconcerting bounce/lurch at times. Particularly when on left hand curves. Does anyone know what I should be checking? The garage have checked and told me everything is where it should be and all bolts etc torque'd. Have I just upse

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers
