So it's gone in this morning.

They quickly diagnosed the fact that it wasn't "the same problem I brought it in for on Friday".  After an awkward silence, I said well I can't drive it can I?

I've opened a case with Skoda to see what's what, am expecting a call back from a Customer Service manager.

Will be interesting to see what the dealers come back with today, and what they want to charge.

Hope you get it sorted. I'm hoping i'm not in the same boat but will see when get a response from dealership

I fear I am in a very unhappy boat.

Chased them and they said the early indication is that there's something wrong "internally to the engine".  I'm waiting on the Master Tech to look at it.

I'm maybe jumping the gun slightly but it doesn't sound very good for me at all.  The dealer says they will speak to Skoda about it (that was without me asking) so even at this stage it must be either something they've seen before, or something that they know isn't good news.

All I can do is cross my fingers.  Good luck to you mate, hope you get sorted too.
