: ))) after contacting eBay. The seller wrote me email. His excuse why he hasn't replied my all emails,is that he was in holidays !!!!!!.

He was on holiday    spending your hard earned cash.

Maybe a chat with your local CAB could point you in he correct direction.

Or a brief (free) chat with a solicitor.

Or both.

Good luck.

That is the test result from autogear box specialists.

They reckon it can be:

mechatronic which is £1400+vat,

Or the clutch which is £1000+vat.

When I asked if they can check it if is clutch. They said without taking out gearbox they can't see it.

However,on Internet some says you can understand if it is clutch you can hear and control it without removing the gearbox. Is it correct?

Please, assume that I have no clues about auto_gear boxes.

Is the prices avarage?

Thanks a million again guys.

Have you tried the basic settings as in post #7?

Thanks Phil.

No I couldn't Gizmo68, I haven't got the program and interface cable. I was thinking to buy them all,Internet if I am not wrong around $400.

Then I thought if it is not the case : ((.

WOULD YOU know any place can do it? Of course I pay for it.

Where are you in the UK?

There is a list of Briskoda VCDS owners in my signature (the full HEX+CAN interface is around £270)

Guys I booked the car this Thursday to a specialist.

Or shall I wait another 14 to 28 days to slove the dispute between dealer? Do I ought to wait?

The thing is,I don't know, what I am gonna do if I wait. School runs and weekends will be nightmare : (((.

If it was me,i would get the legal side of things sorted first, maybe you have a claim against the dealer ?.

Maybe there are car clubs where you live for very short car rental, school runs etc.

Best of luck.

Hi guys. Finally the seller send me message today. He says he is willing to give my money back. But,he wants me to deliver it to their address.

I said:" due to fault on the gear box,and work, wasting my ower a month time. I am not willing to deliver, they should collect it. Also, previously I spent that much time and money to come over to them,I have lost money and time. So,they should arrange a collection from my address. "

Is it well written? What would you do?

Also, now I am looking for another skoda superb auto : ))).

I think this is a pretty good result. If he is not too far away I'd be racing back there to get my money!

Note that all the modern Skodas have the DSG gearbox, no standard autos, so make sure any car you are looking at has FSH and if possible get it checked out prior to purchase by someone who knows these cars.

Good luck

Matt

Yes I agree. Stop messing about, take there and get your money back ASAP.

İ have arranged transport for this Monday. I thought it is better not to drive it there. So,they won't give me headache that I caused more damage.

: )))) İ am hoing to see this Sunday 2009 Skoda Elegance 170 dsg. It is from approved dealer. It has 67000 on the clock with full skoda service. But,last service was done 54kmiles almost 8 months ago.

They are asking 8700 for it. It comes with one year warranty and roadside assistance.

What you think guys,is it too much for it?
