The one I've been using has been great in the past. But i can't get it to read the ECU on this car. Maybe i havnt got it totally pushed in I'll have another look tomorrow.

anyone knows which obd to usb cable suitable for OCTAVIA 1Z SERIES 2009..    MANY CABLES IN EBAY SAYS NOT COMPATIBLE .

VCDS is typically the best option for OBD to USB diagnostics.

If you're likely to use it on more than 3 cars, there are also 10-VIN and unlimited VIN versions or you can upgrade when needed.

VCDS i can download from net, but need OBD cable that compatible with z1 series. this VCDS cable is very expensive. 

is there any ebay option?
