Wiper motor help needed

Featured Replies

Hello, I put this in the wrong place before - apologies - so I'm just copy and pasting. Who knew I drove a classic car?!

I have a very lovely 1998 skoda falicia. Done under 75k miles and other than the odd moan not in bad nick. But now I really need help!

I

Basically the wiper motor is wearing out. It just can't cope anymore. The problem us noone is breaking up falicia so I can't get hold of the proper replacement. Are there any other makes that would fit? Told the problem is getting the electrics to fit.

Thanks in advance!

The only other car manufacturer / model using the same motor is VW Caddy (97-01).

Part number 6U0955113. A new original one is about 42 Euro, a third party one (VIKA) is about half

You, sir, are a star! Thank you! Um, any idea where you get them from? Very new to this

I wish I could help more, but I am too far to know your local market of car parts.

Nevertheless, you should search on ebay or other car parts website using the part number I gave you.

One last thought is maybe another member has a spare motor laying around.

Woohoo! Ordered. Thank you all so much for your help.

You may hear from me again when I can't fit it......

Are you searching for just part numbers on eBay? I get 34 results for "felicia wiper motor" (admittedly some are rear wipers)

Think I'm sussed now. Had been given conflicting numbers and neither matched my current one but I've picked one (the 6u0 above) and got fingers crossed.

That may be the most useful site of the year. Firmly saved to favourites.

Thank you so much for your help, would still be pulling my hair out otherwise!
