SpeedNation GTR

Featured Replies

This video has nothing to do with me, just got bored on YouTube and searched around. This car is unreal! The speedo shoots up that thing on British roads would be epic.

dream car.

Very quick.

0-120mph in 6.something.

I suspect any GT-R with over 900-1000bhp is going to be a Veyron eater, but this another 300bhp or so past that.

Have a look for Jun1, car in the UK belonging to Jurgen who runs a car import/tuning business.

Think his is around the same power.

There are about half a dozen running around this power or close to it in the UK now IIRC.

Plus any people have kept quiet.

Oh didn't think many people in the UK would go that high. In that video when AWD fails I bet that's not very fun in a 1300hp gtr launching.

Just a dream to even be in a car that fast! Let alone own one. Love the understated thing as most veyron owners think they can destroy everything... I know it's only a Nissan at the end of the day but still the look on the owners face must be amazing if you were to ever come across one on the roads.

The tuning scene for GT-Rs in the UK is big.

Tuning and the Nissan GT-R go hand in hand, have done for years and did on the previous Skyline models too.  It's part of it's appeal.

There are at least four or five tuning houses that can build you a 1,200+bhp GT-R that I can think of right now.

I think outside of Japan and the USA the UK is quite a big market for the GT-R.  I know we got 10% of the World's allocation of the NISMO model.

Also the owners club based in the UK (GTROC) is the only owners club officially recognised by Nissan.

I probably know a bit about it as I spend a fair amount of time on the GT-R forums due to having had a couple of R35s previously and now run the older Skyline GT-R.

Fair enough thanks for posting this, just hope I see a big powered one on the roads :) I've seen your Skyline, Very very nice.

Your car collection is class and really gutted your Fiesta wasn't for sale when I was buying my car. Do really like the new ST and yours seem to be the spec I would love!

Think you've had 3 r35s by my count and are about to get your 3rd skyline ;-)

I'm sure you were thinking of selling one of the r32s a few months back.
