good/bad colours

I wasn't going to have black or white, because they both need cleaning all the time. When had a courtesy car during the service, my decision regarding black was confirmed. Also, any colour but red or white was £470 extra - metallic or specialist colours.

I'm curious why a colour can add £470 to the cost (rather than value) of the car, yet adding back doors was only £360!

she likes white and yellow unsure how much less should pay for a yellow car if found two of same spec and condition.

Yellow green are a kind of marmite I think, don't like red, only ever seen yellow in fabia monte carlo maybe looked ok as two tone.

Will "she" be washing the car several times a week?

I love yellow, orange or purple cars but they are so hard to sell.

My next car I've decided to get a popular colour and get the whole car wrapped in a colour of my choice.  I'll be happy, the paint underneath will be protected & it will be an easier sell when the time comes.

We have the greeny silver one (Silver leaf?) I think they have deleted that option now, so possibly not popular.

But we like it as we didn't want to follow the herd with another silver car and it is just that bit different to silver.

Keeps looking clean, unlike my Rosso Brunello Yeti which shows the country dust & dirt.

I ended up with the green when initially there was no way I would even consider it. Once the price dropped and my trade in went up a bit then I though why not? At first I though what have I bought this ******* thing for? Now I couldnt care less, it does everything I need for a fraction cost of running my old Saab. £10 a week less in  fuel, £160 a year less tax, at least £150 less to service, £120 a year cheaper insurance, soon adds up! Once I'm in it I'm not bothered what colour the outside is, I can't see it! Having said that it has the factory tints which helps the appearance a bit.
