It all started with... I got a phone call...

 

A mechanic friend of mine knowing that I have a big heart for even bigger projects and that if it's weird he would know to give me a call..  

 

I got a phone call :-)

 

Cutting to the chase..

 

1975, Skoda S110 LS, with only 1407 miles from new, been in the driest of dry storage for most of it's four decades on the planet..

 

As a blessing the car has been heavily undersealed and waxed from new. Everything is solid solid as if the car was new and I have just took the carpets out for a clean and the floorpan is like new, the original stickers are still inside the bootlid and everything as is how it would have been in a Skoda showroom back in 1975...

 

Currently still rolling on the original... well..  everything!!  Tyres (still holding pressure and they look like new) and everything else is as is, totally untouched..

Where do people keep finding these things? And why don't I ever find them? Brilliant, well done. Any interior shots?

Congratulations! What a fabulous find. A word of caution though, don't be tempted to drive it on those tyres, even if they look like new outside. Tyres really do have a finite life and they're likely to blow up on you at speed.
