There's some info on what supplies all those things (after the fuse) and some diagnostic suggestions in this fairly recent thread.

tryed all fuses

If you've lost the backlighting for the dashboard as well, check your numberplate light , fuse 36 :)

Oh and even if you've checked fuse 4, CHANGE IT  :P   Just in case its something you cannot see.

Have you got a multimeter?

As I said in that thread I linked, you need to find out if the relay is passing any current towards the interior light, when it is supposed to be doing so.

"Main thing to check really is what voltage you see on the red/black (ro/sw) wire coming out of XP2 pin 6, which is almost certainly easier to investigate at pin 2 of the 3-pin connector of the interior light."

Pin 3, the brown wire, is 0V/earth, so check what voltage you have between pins 2 and 3 of the interior light connector as you open and shut the door. If you get nothing at all, trace that red/black wire back to where it starts, at the onboard supply control unit under the dash, and check it there, just in case that wire's bust somewhere along the way.

Another thing worth trying to check is what the voltage on pin 1 of the interior light connector is doing as the door is opened and closed; that should go from 12V down to nearly 0V, I think.

Do the map reading lights work?

No, up at the interior light itself. :)

I've edited a couple more suggestions/questions into post #9.

Do the reading lights work if you switch them on?

Comfort module.

where is this located please

Do the reading lights work if you switch them on with their little pushbuttons either side of the interior light?

If they do, that would rule prove that the 12V is getting to the light module.

where is this located please

Under the dash near the foot pedals.

no interior lights in the car work at all

Shame, that does tend to mean that the onboard supply control module isn't sending out the necessary 12V.

I haven't got a picture of my own but this current ebay listing shows the module that powers the interior lighting. It sits the other way up with all the wiring hanging out downwards. That part number in that listing may not be exactly what your car needs, so don't just buy that.
