I have a 2007 petrol auto roomster, the eml light is on, and on the dash panel all of the gear selector lights

Are lit . Is this an easy fix. My local garage did a scan but equipment only said gearbox fault.

Further to my previous post , I have just noticed when in tiptronic mode the numbers 1 to 6 do not appear on the dash.

The car drives perfect up and down all the gears in both auto and triptronic. Just the display not working ?any ideas.
