Does Skoda have an e, or d type?

Of the 100+ years is there a model that is so SKODA, it's screaming to be reborn?

By reborn I do mean reborn, rebooted, reimagined, and definitely not a reference build below bodywork.

For example the Jag e-type is so synonymous it's almost defining, no it is!

I saw an article recently a company was remaking the shells, but dropping onto modern running gear.

I must admit the idea of owning & driving a 1940's car is beyond terrifying, but a 1940s sport or 110, spider, 130rs shell on something with discs and unleaded does interest me.

A handy quick reference http://tv.briskoda.net/video/yAsYoxz4ivARJEhi9

This might only be BBQ talk, but what's the stand out model, money no object, bring back to life model?

I'd be torn between a 30's popular/rapid with a v8, or just nuts and a spider with something sensible like a hyabusa... maybe not your daily driver though.

So what would you do?

Sorry not a very old model so not meeting your requirements, but maybe Skoda CZ's finest moment.

& your feet might still get wet even though it has a roof.

The Mk1 Fabia vRS.

Not Unleaded, but there are Discs.

Diesel Manual that gave as good economy as cars 10 years on and without that much more emissions and probably

holds value as good as any mass produced car Skoda CZ have built in 100 years plus.

These need looked after and saving for the next generations to see just how a turn of the Century Diesel Car could become a Cult Classic.

Always wondered what it would be like to take a 130RS and squeeze in an H6 engine from a Porsche. Sure that could make for a fun little project.

A 130RS with a 1.4TSi could be fun.
