Goodness knows what happens if he get's an incoming call??

Way to take the fun out of hearing the scrapes and bangs when off roading!

Takes all the skill out of driving a car IMO.   However Nissan owners can control the charging of their Leaf and switch on the screen heater remotely with a Smartphone.   That is a good idea however.

I think the only practical application shown there was with the parked cars, but even then there isn't really a need for it...

Lot of dry steering going on there, maybe the computer could do with some driver training. :p

Coming shortly after that.

Operating your car from my phone.

If you'd like to deposit £5000 in Bitcoin into my Swiss account or I might be forced to make a sharp left turn at random.

The next gen BMW 7 and Audi A8 will offer some kind of remote driving feature. The 7 will park itself in your garage once you get out and the A8 does something similar I think.

Might be best if they can fully sort out their security and immobiliser systems that they have now, before advancing in technology

or some that are smarter than the motor industry and manufacturers might just have them self park in their garages.

re post #6.

Even a call on the hands free.
