I saw an Audi A3 today

Featured Replies

Seen plenty Audi A1's. Pig-ugly car compared to the Fabia. Interior cramped with circular vents etc.. Shares the same contour line along the side as the Skoda, and shares far too many components for any Audi owner's liking, but I like that fact!

The Audi A1, not the A3, is really the model equivalent of the Skoda Fabia, but it just isn't. :)

All depends what you look for in a car.

Im sure many a1 owners love their car.

A friend of mine has a cr140 a1 s-line and tbh, its a lovely car. Not cheap for what it is, but its a nide place to be tbh. I like.

Its not just me, fabiamk2se, it's official. The audi A1 is ugly!

5 seconds of Google searching proves it. Think about it, do you want walrus nostril shaped air vents blowing diesel soot at you all day? That's what the Audi badge gives you..

devonutopia.

that was a question for dilz post#19 that was driving a A3 S-Line.

But point taken.

Re a A1.

With Leather the comfort in a A1 is my favourite. Just too Girly in styling IMO, even a S1 with 231 ps and Haldex.

Some colourways can have them looking a little more butch.

Choice of a 3 Door or the 5, and many people drive about on their own or with occasional passengers,

the space in the car or boot is what it is, if not enough, then do not buy one.

The size of any car is what it is, you get choices,

The All New 3rd Generation Fabia was given a wider stance and outside dimensions to match the A1.

Plenty choices around of a Low Mileage Used Facelift A1 or the previous ones with decent engine choices

for thousands of pounds less than a new Fabia 3 pot Diesel or 110 ps Petrol top of the range which

will be another depreciation disaster from Skoda / VWG.

 A1 1.4TSI

Then the '2014 Face Lift Audi A1' gave engine choices the All New 2014/15 Fabia (2nd or 3rd facelift) never got. (yet)

I thought this morning i would compare a Fabia & a A1 with the same purchase costs to see how the interiors compared.

The A1 was just so much superior for fit and finish, and comfort, but that is just my opinion.

But the Audi was 6 months older than the nearly new Fabia Demonstrator.

Are these figures wrong for boot space with seats up,?

they looked about right to me.

A1 270 litres. (380 must be a Typo.)
