Best way to get furby VRS seats clean

Featured Replies

Hi,

The seats in my furby VRS could do with a clean. What have you peeps found to be the best product to get them clean and the best method.

Cheers,

Chris

Replacing them with leather seems to be an increasingly popular option :D

I dont know if this is the best way, but i have found it works for me. Equip yourself with some auto glym upholstery cleaner and a damp clean sponge. Hoover your seats, spray the cleaner all over them, agitate with the damp sponge, leave to dry. Vacuum again, et voila - clean seats.

Get them scotch gaurded

before i got mine leathered:D what i found best was soda crystals, buy a packet only costs about 80p and put a couple of teaspoons into a spray bottle and add warm water and shake well, then spray on the seats and wipe off, i found this the best cleaner as i found the other cleaners left stain around the area being cleaned, whereas i found using soda crystal left no such residue

I Scotch Guarded mine on the day of delivery. Used 2 cans on all seats. That should be enough to stave off the dirt !!

I've used MC2, or Virosol I think it's called. (Josh posted about this) It's an "industrial" generic cleaner. Smells really nice too. Normally used for cleaning alloys, but I've found it to work well on small stains. It removes the stains but doesn't discolour the upholstery :)

Google the following:

Vax "Spot Scrubber"
