I've been looking at an MFSW that came off a 2011 Superb MkII and wanted to know a couple of things. A Would this fit onto my MkiII Fabia? And would I need anything else to make it work? This is the wheel it's self:

Eddie_nl fitted a vRS MFSW into my Elegance and it needed the dashboard taking apart and extra wiring connections to be done, and also changes to the airbag wiring loom

There's no point asking me exactly what he did, as I'm not in the least bit technically-minded, but it was very impressive

Thanks Brian, don't think I'll bother with it if it needs a lot doing.

I emailed Mike Holroyd, he's just replied - in part:

..."my immediate thought is that the Fabia 2 has a BCM like the Superb and Octy, so should be OK".

He also mentioned to check with EddieNL which I haven't done. It does sound an awful lot of work to me & either way, I ain't a clue.

Is Eddie-NL going to the national? If Eddie-NL or techie are there then we can ask them and they can have a look at the car and see. If it is possible and doesn't look like a lot of work I'm still interested.
