Petrol Blue and Rosso Brunello Pictures and Videos?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any pics or videos of a Yeti in these colours. Struggling to find one to look at in the flesh.

I have searched through a load of threads and bad a good look through Google images. Bit not finding a great deal.

Cheers

There are a few used Rosso Brunello coloured Yetis on the Used and approved section http://www.skoda.net.r66.co.uk/index.aspx

My Rosso Brunello Yeti is being built this week so a couple of weeks before I can post pics :P

Thanks. Did you see a Yeti in this colour before ordering? What other colours did you consider?

We are pretty close to ordering now I think so need to make some decisions.

I did not see the colour... but had a look at the painted balls at the dealer and compared them to the Miama blue Roomster! Considered cappuccino beige and jungle green. Really wanted the terracotta orange (copper) and shark blue but both discontinued!

Added silver rails to lift the darkness of the Rosso.

Petrol blue ...

It looks lighter in sunlight and changes slightly in different light and sometimes has a green tinge.

Just check my profile pic for Rosso Brunello next to a silver Yeti.

Colour looks great in the sun and when clean.

But it doesn't hide the dirt as well as the silver.

Glad I chose it though.  :sun:

Or muscovado.

Now there's a colour that really hides the dirt. :)

Oooh nice... same interior I ordered :D

Thanks all. The wife prefers the blue, but not sure how well that will sit against the brown leather. I guess another one we should consider is the magnetic brown, but the fabia is black and its not faired that well in just over 16 months and is a pain to keep looking nice and I think the brown is quite dark?

Yes the Magnetic Brown is very dark,

Rosso Brunello looks lovely when clean and more so when combined with ivory leather.... but it’s an awful drab colour when it is dirty.

For keeping looking clean then Silver will probably be the best closely followed by Muscavado and Jungle Green (which we chose)

Personally I think the brown L&K leather works best with natural colours (browns and greens) as well as with white and black... but these ARE a nightmare to keep clean!

Low maintenance is definitely what we want with this car. Don't want a plain silver though and whites out too.

I actually liked muscavado and jungle green as I said, but its the missus car really ;)

It hides the dirt perfectly, better than my silver van ;) .

Just put your foot down and order muscovado.

:punch: You can change the order before it's locked into a build week

Just changed our Petrol Blue Yeti for a Muscovado one.

Petrol Blue is a absolutely stunning colour when clean, but afraid to say it shows every mark and just seems to act like a magnet to dirty rain and general road grime.

Obviously bird dirt effects all colours but on the Petrol Blue unless you remove it quickly it seems to require a great deal of polishing to get rid of the stain.

Its early yet (4 days) but up to now the Muscovado seems to be very "low maintenance" and a very attractive colour.

Even my wife who was against my choice now admits Muscovado looks great.

Platinum grey gas hidden the dirt well for me for four years. Not sure if it's still available though. Saw three other steel grey yetis round here yesterday too so obviously quite popular

Ah the marks showing may be an issue especially being a lease car where it has to go back in good condition.

I'll try some more persuasion on muscavado and jungle green I think :)

I have had Cappuccino, Muscovado and now Jungle Green. All were good  at not  showing the dirt too much but Jungle Green has proved to be the best. It also tends to stay the same colour in most lighting conditions whereas the other change quite a lot.
