After several years of happy Yeti ownership, we have stepped across the threshold into the Octavia Scout camp.

 

The car was ordered on 7th June it's here now!  We saw it yesterday 24th June, still in its wrapping paper and we pick it up Friday!

 

So much for being told when we ordered it, we wouldn't see it until September then!

 

(Don't know what happened there - I tried to post, got an error message and had to send the post a second time - now I've ended up with two!)

What spec is your car, mine was ordered the day before, but I did have the order modified to change to 16" wheels.

Its a SE L estate 150 Tdi DSG, I did have a build week of 25 but this now seems to have slipped into September... :-(

Sounds like the exact spec you ordered was already in stock at the docks and they've just shipped it over.

I can't see a factory order being built and delivered to dealer that quickly.

I wanted a Moon White 150PS Tdi with towbar - they called me to say they'd found my spec in Eden but with heated front seats.  When I told the wife about the heated seats, she was all for it!

 

... and to think we went to the dealers to buy a new Yeti!
