Help with fog wiring

Featured Replies

I got a set of dual fogs (drl and halogen fog ) need a bit of help with fitment. I am thinking I can wire like this but not sure:

- for both sets of lights to block and to chassis or engine earth

+ for drl to relay which in turn is connected to an ignition position live in fuse box

+ for main fogs to another relay which is connected to the headlamp switch (fog position, wiring to be determined)

Relays and earth block in small electrical box mounted to inner wing

Is this the correct way to go about it?

I think they can also dim to 50% brightness when the other lights come on although granted it doesn't say so in that article.

My 2012 FL vRS has no separate sidelights (well it does have the bulbs fitted but there is no wiring to the holders).  When headlights are on the DRLs dim and act as sidelights.
