Drop links on lowered suspension

Featured Replies

Hi All

Need new front drop links on a 2010 CR170 FL with H&R -50mm cup kit fitted (actual height difference is approx 20mm).

Standard drop links on at the moment and been fine but should I use shorter ones?? Read on another thread that 3rd party ones for a Golf R32 fit and are stronger.

What's your thoughts guys?

Cheers

Dave

You don't need shorter drop links with lowering springs. Only when using coilovers and again depends on coilover make and how low you go.

OK. Cheers. Just wanted to check as they were only changed just over a year ago and wondered if it being lowered wore them out quicker.
