Drivers say: 'I do it my way'

Featured Replies

I have been driving many years now, no accidents, no speeding fines, not been pulled up by a copper!

I am a very curteous driver (can't spell). And I do respect the law to a point.

For Instance, there is a 20mph limit in my town centre, the roads are wide and straight, no one i have seen drives any where near 20mph. Everyone one is breaking the law here. I do 30mph in this 20mph zone, even driven behind the police at 30 mph in this zone, they just don't care as the 20mph limit is stupid.

some people in here get on there high horses way to easily, just calm down and get on.

Kentsu: I love your attitude RESPECT

You just jinxed yourself.

aren't rules meant to be broken? If everyone always followed the rules we would have no fun in life.

Get a grip.

That's where he jinxed himself ;)

I will admit to parking on double yellow lines, if its ok for disabled people to park on them then as far as i'm concerned its ok for me as well. If double yellows are meant to represent an area that is dangerous to park that should apply to everyone, just cos you got a orange (or blue now I believe) badge you shouldn't be able to park there either if it really is dangerous.

(I dont park on bends or anything like that, so no-one twist my words please)

I also (being a cab) have full diplomatic rights to park or stop whenever or wherever I like, regardless of conditions or traffic just so long as my hazards are on!!!

At the end of the day....we all do it our own way...

Im getting a Fabia VRS ....Now thats where I jinxed Myself ..lol.

3 points in the first year and ill be happy

I hate people that park on double yellows, they are there for a reason.

It causes uber congestion on the High Street I work down, i've gotton so pis.sed off with it that if I am walking down the High Street i've been known to approach parking wardens to let them know someones parked on a double yellow :)

You might not win friends with salad,

But you dont win them by being a grass either!!;)

Besides, how am I inconveniencing you if your walking

It pi.ssess me off, so I do something about it, simple as

Yer only jelouse coz I got the badge an you aint

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

So to summarise:

Three quarters of people wouldn't race past a speed camera if late for a job interview' date=' 72% wouldn't drive on a nearly empty tank if they had a restaurant table booked, and 84% wouldn't risk harming their vehicles over speed bumps.

Two thirds of drivers wouldn't tailgate to stop someone getting in front, 83% wouldn't race down the hard shoulder to avoid missing a flight, three-quarters of people wouldn't park in a supermarket disable bay...

Or, in other words, yes, there are some c*cks on the road, but they're a minority! :D

Nicely put :)

What he said. :agree:

And on from that, if they can park on double-yellows, why the hell do they make disabled parking bays? Makes me maaad. Don't mind allowing disabled drivers to park closer to stuff, dont get me wrong, but decide on a train of thought and stick to it. Either disabled parking bays or double-yellows, and if the latter, dont put double yellows there, put a big long disabled carpark on it!
