Been let down severely by crowd who were doing my van and now its not going to be ready. I am now left with the wee car to fit 4 adults, one large dog, and all our luggage to go on holiday tomorrow, Friday. If anyone has roof bars and a box to fit a Mk1 fabia Vrs for sale, rent, loan, please let me know. I can get a used roof bar unit and large box off gumtree but getting a fitting kit for the fabia is proving impossible. Unless Eurocarparts have them in stock, which I doubt.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 1st holiday in 5 years and its buggered already.

Would have been quicker, easier and cheaper to just rent a bigger car for the duration.

No probs guys, just took a shed load less stuff and used my ninja Tetris skills to build it around the passenger seat. Had to seat belt it in so I could utilise the ever so handy near side window and mirror but we managed.

Didn't want to hire a car as exceedingly mental dog already removed my boot carpet from the car.
