Opinion on alloys wanted

Featured Replies

Any thoughts? I kind of like them. They're going to be much blacker so should be easier to clean - cheap too -

Looks like a 'boss' wheel to me.

After some research I concur with you Ross. Thanks.

Now to find that model and get some details. Seems

Nice - I like 'em. Something a little bit different. Not sure about the bolt at the edge of each spoke though. Anyone one fancy resizing J's image and Photoshopping? :)

With that bolt at the end and the pattern in the spoke I think they will take ages to clean

That's the first thing i thought of.

The other thing with proud spokes is they tend to collect the odd stone chip, also make sure they dont come outside the furthest point of the wing, looks cack & is also technically illegal if plod want to be a real pain

Don't like the spoke being proud of the rim.....easy meat for curbing...I prefer designs that are recessed.

Same thing, cleaned mine at the weekend which are genuine split rims and spent nearly 45 mins on each wheel.

  Multiclean, cup of tea whilst it works its magic, then jet wash, job done.

What dilution do you use yours at for wheels?

About 3:1

Dude go for deep-dish style rims! THAT will be different!

Like them, just not keen on bolt and agree with everyone else kurbing will be very easy.... iv managed to kurb mine and they dont even stand proud :o

Very nice indeed, pain to clean maybe but nowhere near a pain to clean as my BBS alloys. I need to get out there this morning while the sun holds off the rain and 'see' to them

Don't like them, sorry :)

I completely and utterly second that. Those wheels look way too ricey. Needs something a bit more Euro look to suit the car.

You really want Schmidt TH-Lines, you just don't know it yet ;)

Alloy coloured would be better. I agree with you (At last) !!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

 one day i'll wake up and won't be so opinionated, as for now I am beginning to lighten up a little

Whats multiclean???

Whats multiclean???

Cleaned so much you take of the finish to leave a granite look :D

Guess he means cleaned over clean...

Nope, its the "Multiclean" gunk - Think I have a big pot of the second gen stuff referred to sometimes as MC2 - It smells of orange and is very potent. Need bugger all in a big bucket of water to give good cleaning power.
