I've been round a few places, not much going locally it seems. I've looked at both the Leon Cupra at a Seat dealer, and also the vRS at a Skoda dealer, and I have to say, my impressions of the cars were similar to when I had the dilemma of Ibiza TDI Sport or Fabia vRS... that is, the Octy looks far better from the outside, and the interior is much nicer, so I'll be patient for the Octy...

had the same dilema just over a year ago,chose the octavia over the leon,saved a bundle on it too,got a 37k mint-ish condition for 7300 quid.bargains are out there,i travelled 350 mile to see mine,drove it home
