If you want to hand it back on a pcp its when you've paid 50% of the price of the car, as vwfs have said, this usually works out as 3/4 into the pcp.

It's a shame when you're stuck with a car that you don't like.

It is yes. I'm going for a 2nd attempt in September when it's in for its 1st service and a very long list of faults incl the fuel gauge again.

Fingers crossed stormy.

It's a shame how much you hate the rapid considering how much you loved the citigo.

It is yes. I should've kept my Citigo and stood my ground on the Crapid. They've got great skills in making you keep it and all the bribery. Benefit of the doubt and all that :(

This time is going to be a different story as I'm following it through to the end and its logged with Skoda UK again. They're playing ball this time as obviously they can see its all gone wrong and I've got photo proof this time :)

So what happens if for some reason you cannot afford the repayments, but you haven't paid half of the finance off to hand the car back? Do they repossess as such and then bill you for the difference between finance owing and todays value of the car?

Pretty much, yes.

That sounds about right I think.
