Expensive - or just me?

Featured Replies

After reading the above posts , I think I got the deal of 2015 , I bought TWO 2015 , 64 plate fabia SE 70bhp , very good spec ( not pre reg ) for £19,000 , two for the price of one

Why 2, typray?

One for me and one for her indoors , the spec and the deal on these two smart looking cars including 3years free serviceing was not to be missed

Were they the previous model or the new mk3

Previous model , mk2

That's why they were £19k, a lot of cars for the money.

It does look nice but defo not 22k worth of nice, you could get a nice used octy vrs for that kind of cash

That is absurd! Over here you can have a brand new Superb 170 hp estate TDI DSG Business Edition for that kind of money!

Campain price, but anyway!

Previous model , mk2

Explains the deal then :)

£1500 too much...plus I also trust you got the free mats, side strips, full tanks of fuel and 3 years free servicing.

Yes £9,500each , mats , side strips , full tank of fuel , full size spare wheel , metallic paint , 3 years free servicing , what closed the deal was that I secured a further £1000 for the part exchange vehicle ( yeti ) over and above what others were offering , as said " not pre- reg" o yes "sill protection"

Well, we ordered a MK3 SEL 1.2 90 estate with a few extras, privacy glass, upgraded wheels, electric rear windows and one of the interior packs. Got a full tank of fuel + £500 fuel card and with 0% finance and all for 16k. For me, that offers good value.

I am not sure what you have to spec to get one to 22k but it must be close to if not the entire options list. Speccing a car to the hills really means she is a keeper forever so then it might not be so hard to take, otherwise, don't do it!

Having recently taken delivery of a Fabia 3 estate, I can't understand how anyone can pay upwards of £20k for one.

I got the £500 fuel card and 0% finance and swapped from a 2013 Monte Tech with nothing to pay upfront and same monthly DD, speccing a car to that price is crazy especially if you change your car every 2-3 years.

If it's keeper then it's a bit easier to understand or if it's a company car but the value come trade in would make you weep when you've realised you've wasted £2-3k on some extras.
