I've just bought a 2009 (MY10) Octavia vRS petrol DSG, happy to be joining the community.

 

I've already found some useful things here - when I looked under the armrest I can see the AUX socket cover. I lift that and there's just a hole, not AUX socket! I had asked the previous owner and he said it never had one but after reading up on it (and seeing there's an AUX option on the Bolero head unit) I thought it might have just fallen into the hole and he'd never noticed...

I'm going follow the instructions here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/85640-how-do-i-remove-centre-console/ to try to fix it.
