What a final race.

Once more the Doctor showed what a class act he is, started 15 and ended up 3rd (crashed out in Qualifying with a bike which wasn't anywhere near the pace and does that today RESPECT).

That brings his tally for the year to 16 podiums out of 17 races (11 were victories), 140 points ahead in the Championship wow. I can honestly say there wasn't one boring race.

Starting from 15th & finishing 3rd is brilliant, especially when he was struggling with set-up around the track.

The retro white & red paint scheme brings back some memories! And his helmet design was just weird!! Pink Hippos!

Melandri is definately coming on strong & will give Rossi a hard time next year.
