Hello all on the forum,

Robbie here from Ireland signing in. 

I am a proud new owner of a 2007 PD170 VRS Octavia as of last Wednesday evening.

Have been advised to have a look on briskoda for all the tips and tricks to these great cars.

First job is to get my cruise control back working, fix some slight warp in a rim and clean clean clean.

I would like to fit a removable tow bar for towing the dirt bike to the tracks (any recommendations much appreciated).

There are a few small dents in the car that I will have sorted via paintless dent removal and the car is covered in swirl marks that I need to get rid of!

I don't have huge plans for the car at the minute and I'm just loving how it drives, pulls and handles on the road.

Previous cars include a 2002 Bora PD100 for 4 years, a 1999 Toyota Corolla 1.6 for 2, a Mk6 Ford Escort 1.6 Zetec for about 2 years as well and a Mk1 Ford Fiesta restoration project.

I work with a pharma company and enjoy dirt biking at the weekends amongst many other things.
