£450 sounds cheap if that includes the wheels. The wheels you want are called 17" Zenith and will probably cost you that refurbed second hand with tyres. Regards the dump valve they have probably cut through some pipes hoses etc. Easiest fix is probably to get some samco style replacement pipe and jubilee clips to replace whats there. Skoda will be quoting you to return back to standard.

This is what wheels should look like:

Corrida Red VRS 2

Get some gel badge overlays to stick over the VW logos, can be bought on EBay. Or depending on size, you could get replacement caps.

Dump valve is an easy fix, I did a guide years ago. Basically you Jack the car up andremove the undertray to access it from below. It's only 3 bolts IIRC. It might have an adjustable BOV on, so you may be able to close it to silent.

£450 to fix is ridiculous!

That's if its a Forge BOV. it could be a bailey twin piston dump valve with all manner of interconnecting pipework etc. we don't really know without a better description from the O.P. before we knock the dealer I think we should find out exactly what they are offering as it could be a good quote. Personally I would want the zeniths back on not some bodge stickers and I would want the turbo pipework back to stock.

He's not asking for new alloys though, just replacing the VW logo. The gel badges look fine, or if he can get the same diameter some new centre caps.

If it's a Forge BOV he's laughing.

Agree we need more info though

Well seeing as the title was alloys I assumed the $450 was a quote for some replacement zeniths. which aint bad. If its just to rectify the BOV then I agree its extortionate.
