Autotech hollow (lightweight) rear Anti Roll Bar (RARB) mk2 vRS Octavia

Featured Replies

About to remove my Autotech rARB from TF51 in the next 48 hours or so - I was going to crawl under the car and take a pic of it, but it's harder than I thought it would be so no pic until it's off.

These are a hollow bar, lighter than some of the other bars on the market and stiffen up the rear a bit. Half tempted to put it on pater's Cappucino Barge, but he can buy his own.

Garage Midnight reckon these are THE stiffest bar on the market, which begs the question: Why am I selling?

I'm not sure actually, I haven't really thought this through.

£212.99 from Garage Midnight, I would like 170 English pounds delivered pretty please.

My pic to follow.

Still got this, now removed from the car and ready to go. Sadly one of the poly bushes had come apart and I have not had a chance to source a replacement.

I'm going to ask £140 delivered and you supply your own bushes (there are universal ones available from Powerflex and so on) or I'll supply a set of new bushes and the price is firm at £170.

hi due to hassle actully getting correct bushings. diameter. etc

i am offering £110 inc post and packingdo we have a deal??

thanks Gary

No thanks Gary.

As the 25mm bushes are relatively easy to source, I'm going to withdraw the bar from sale without bushes and it will now only be available complete and ready to fit. For what would see me with about £90 nett, I think I'd rather put it on my dad's Superb.

Bushes turned up, it's most likely going on the Cappucino Barge tomorrow. Thread locked.
