Would just like to introduce myself and my car to the forums, I've just bought myself an 06 Yellow fabia VRS, 1 previous owner from new, full service history though Skoda and services every 8,000 miles, it only had 29,500 miles when I bought it three months ago, it's now my daily driver, it's been very well looked after, I've got myself a gem.

Other than the wheels needing refurbishment, and a few annoying chips I need touching up, the bodywork is sound.

I'm just wondering if there's anything in particular I should be keeping an eye on, any common faults I should expect any time soon? I'm also looking for any advice towards modding it, only lightly, anything people feel is essential, a safe remap for example, coilovers, tinting, any information on the original wheels painted black for sale would be appreciated.

Looks nice mate! Is that a seat surgeon leather retrim? I'm sure genuine Skoda leather has red piping

I'm not sure to be honest, I've seen some with the red trim and some with blue, your guess is as good as mine.

The Red piping was the genuine Skoda leather and is as rare as hens teeth! The Blue Piping was on the SE's i think everything else has been done elsewhere i think yours may be done elsewhere as you have a vertical line below the VRS badge and the genuine leathers don't have this.
