Things I've discovered with my Fabia....

No light in the boot - why? :( I hate having to grope around for that stray apple that's come lose from the shopping.

Yes they have

Aha, out with the posh torch then and I'll have a look. It's awfully dark these days, blinkin' Winter

BTW do the petrol Fabias have the reverse/re-circ feature' date=' i've never been in a petrol Fabia.[/quote']

yup

One serious omission on the Skoda range IMO is a curry hook!

The aftermarket ones look a bit cheap but then of course they are cheap.

doesnt the new octy and superb have these built into the boot??

The Superb has two double sided spring loaded hooks that fold down from the rear shelf in the boot, so effectively 4 hooks!! large ones at that, you can get 16 full bags of shopping hanging from them which is ace cos the boot is so long on the superb it's a right ar*e to pick stuff up thats rolled to the back!

They are very very usefull, too the extent that when I sell the car, i'll be taking them out and fitting them in my next car!!!

Yes a curry hook would be a good idea,

As an alternative I use one of the rear window winders to stop the bag from falling over!

Just thought, newer Fabias have a little clip on the bottom of the windscreen to clip parking tickets in. :)

Yeah, there are 2 spring loaded ones at each side and one in the middle under the fixed section of the parcel shelf in mine but I can't be arsed opening the boot.

Would agree with that  , however top of my list would be a rattle free dash at the present moment

An "Auto" setting on my "climate control" would be nice. Or is that an option on the vRS?

In the boot I've found, not surprisingly, a spare wheel, jack, wheel bolt angled socket, plastic thing to pull off the bolt head caps

but also a shiny metal spring-like thing with a sort of hook at one end. What's that then??

Could it be a curry hook ??

Its for removing wheel trims I believe.

I put the seat belt around it. Works fine :cool:

 Its a 'belter' of a curry!!
