Playing FLAC on Amundsen MY16 ?

Having seen some older posts regarding Amundsen and flac, I was wondering if anyone could help shed some light on the current status on the subject (might have missed it in my search)? The manual states Amundsen/Bolero should be able to play flac files, but somewhere in the forums I saw a notice of this not being true. This however was some time ago, so might have changed with the MIB2 units.

 

Anyone tested with a current system? Thought I might as well use the time until I get my car to prepare as much as possible :-)

Iirc I tried FLAC on MIB2 Bolero and it worked (I tried same files on MIB1 Bolero and it didnt work).

    I have a MY16 just delivered, and plays FLAC files fine.

    Sounds good - might be time for the computer to convert from alac to flac :-)
