Yeti to Octavia again

Featured Replies

Traded in the Yeti outdoor 170 Elegance last week after less than 6k miles for a Octavia Scout 150, nothing wrong with the Yeti in fact it is the perfect car for me as I have had 3 of them. The only reason for the change is boot space and the need to lift out the seats to get my bike in the back plus the fact I had the beige leather seats which tend to get dirty quite easily although were easily cleaned with leather polish. First couple of days I thought what have I done as the Yeti was so much better to drive with the higher driving position and more direct steering. Had my first decent run in it this weekend to Wales where I go most weekends and it passed the test and was really impressed with the way it performed and I am sure it will improve as the mileage increases. Would like to put mud flaps on it but the ones on Superskoda say not for use on the Scout can somebody confirm the part number without me needing to do a search as TPS is just up the road from me so easy to order. Also I have a spare set of Matterhorn alloy wheels and tyres from the Yeti which I would like to fit on the Scout which I think would look good as the car is grey has anybody else done this?
