Boost Gauge - vacuum pipe

Featured Replies

Anybody give me any tips where to run the vacuum pipe from bay into the car for a boost gauge? It's pd170 by the way of that makes a difference!

Also how is the headlight switch removed to get access to the headlight loom?

I would look on the bulkhead Dan. Find out where some wires come through and use that area.

Switch should just pop off with a trim removal tool or a screw driver from underneath.

I'll have a look! Tbh I haven't done much myself with the car so finding out for someone who's going to fit the boost gauge for me :)

Reason I asked about the headlight switch is because I recall the fabia one being pretty awkward and involved pushing the switch in then twisting of some sort!

Bump! Some must have installed a boost gauge in their mk2 Octy :)

You are indeed correct, but I can't remember the process, but sure it is similar to what I had to do with mk 1 Octy.
