Can you track your car between Build & Delivery?

Hi Lads, 

 

I am just wondering is there a way of tracking the status of your car once it has been built? Mine was built week 29 and at present my dealer is saying that it might be on a boat that is scheduled for loading on 14th of August and 3-5 days after that it will arrive in Ireland. 

 

I have the chassis number and COMM number now so I am wondering is there a way of checking with Skoda or any other way?

You could try through Skoda UK.

I think VW provide this sort of service through their website on ordered VWS.

Hi mate,

I'm currently awaiting delivery of my Octavia and I feel your pain!

I added skoda UK on Facebook and simply messaged them on there. They can take up to a day to reply but they are really good and helpful.

I found out when mine was built, when it was being loaded onto the boat and when it landed here in the UK....that was yesterday!

The last corresondance I had stated it was in the UK and should be with my dealer within approximately 10 days.

I called my dealer and updated them

So yeh, just pester them on fbook. They will wNt build no, your details and whether it's a personal purchase etc..

Week 29 build, found out today that my car had arrived at Sheerness, is estimated to be here in around 7 days, we shall see...
