Recently got myself a 2012 Octavia VRS diesel hatchback with the DSG gearbox after many happy years in Ford Mondeo 2.2 diesel Titanium X estate. Whilst the VRs doesn't have the grunt and topend that my modded Mondeo had it's still pretty rapid off the line. I'm still getting used to the new car and will no doubt have it remapped at a later date but for the moment it can stay as standard.

This forum has already helped me with the squeaky drivers seat. I would never have thought of raising the seat a notch higher. Only other problem is the front PDC qiving false readings when it has rained. I already know what the problem is and it's not specific to Skodas and just needs the application of electrical contact grease in the connectors but I'll take it to the dealers to sort that out as it's still under warranty.
