skoda fabia 1.4 blackline to octavia 1.8t vrs engine

Featured Replies

hi guys is it possible to make the engine transplant from a 1.4 mpi an put an octavia vrs 1.8t lump in?

Will it drop straight in or does it require a lot of work?

There are quite a few threads on here where people do just that.

Anythings possible as long as you know what your doing or have very deep pockets.

Ibiza is a more straight forward donor, drop the lot in and create a Fabiza. :P

Yes all talk and no action! :p

personally i would go for a BAM 225 engine. Any 1.8t from a golf platform requires the engine mount brackets from a polo platform and the modified gearbox mount if using a golf platform 02J both of which i have surplus to requirements
