I ordered 4 bits at 12.07pm at 12.11pm got an email saying dispatched... bloody hell that cant be right can it lol

I ordered

Rapid limousine - stainless steel CHROME under rear trunk lid

Rapid limousine - FRONT/REAR wind/rain deflector set

Rapid Limousine - 3pcs set of sun/privacy/bug shades

Rapid - original Skoda rubber mat over the rear tunnel (which was freeish as my order cost)

dont think at all bad for €170.00 = £124.55 total

I was going to get sun shades from uv carshades but they was £86 so not bad price for all 4 items

Same here, I ordered some mudflaps, sills and the tunnel cover too. Came within a few days. Very imporessed.

yeah im looking at door handle covers and some other part only i order friday and they came wednesday great service

Couldnt resist an order with the 20% off and the pick a gift for 0.10. Got the chrome cup holder ring which is appar worth 24.99 euros so i think i've done alrite there :-)

Many thanks for the heads up concerning the 20% code. Order now placed for a multitude of items to include the discounted rear tunnel mat!

Just put in an order.

Have treated myself to the Spaceback boot nets, genuine rubber boot liner and the rear tunnel rubber cover. Also ordered the uprated boot interior light assembly.

Also ordered the boot nets for the Fabia II Combi.

Thanks to the discount, all came in at a tidy £68.

SuperSkoda order has arrived. Of course, I'm at work so can't play with any of the bits for another few hours :(

i ordered some stuff on sunday, currently the package is in Budapest.. :dull::thumbdown:

i hope it will arrive tomorrow so i can get to work this weekend

Order also arrived today. Just need some fine weather to fit the door seals.

To bulk out the order I picked up the universal tablet holder (with holder for the headrest) for my son when he is a rear passenger. Being able to rotate this 360 degrees the bracket was upside down when it arrived. Not wanting to snap it, it took brute force to move it (no instruction to suggest there is a lockable collar). Never-the-less it is sturdy.

Hopefully the sports pedal covers will be less challenging!!

Well, got home this evening to a nice big box from SuperSkoda.

Genuine Skoda Rubber boot mat for the Spaceback - great bit of kit and a perfect fit. Extremely happy with it.

Genuine Skoda Rubber tunnel mat for the rear passenger area - again, a perfect fit and looks good against the genuine rubber floor mats.

Genuine Skoda boot nets for the Spaceback - three pack, all look good (got the black ones, rather than the red), not really done anything with them as it was starting to rain.

LED replacement interior boot light assembly - a complete replacement assembly, but filled with LEDs instead of the weak, dull yellow boot light. I've been toying with buying this for ages, but finally did and OH MY GOD what a difference. Everyone with a Rapid or Spaceback needs to fit this modified part in their boot space.

Only one issue with the order, they picked and packed the wrong boot nets for the Fabia Combi. Correct part number ordered and listed on the packing note, but wrong actual product in the shipping box (so completely their ****-up). I will be having words with them tomorrow.

I'll post pics of everything tomorrow - the rain curtailed plans to fit and photograph everything tonight.

I passed by the LED interior light as it was listed for a Rapid 'limousine'. Perhaps as the darker nights draw in I will revisit again since free delivery for this product is offered.

Well I can confirm it fits the Spaceback as well (not a surprise, both the normal Rapid and the Spaceback use exactly the same interior boot light part). It is well worth buying, the difference it makes to visibility in the Spaceback boot is incredible.

Wouldn't an LED bulb be a cheaper option? It seems a bit expensive.

I also bought the new tablet holder ( beside other things) , looks and fits very well to superb 2. In highway it is little bit shakey, but did not see with my eyes how disturbing it is:)

The interior boot light is a sealed unit (though can be popped open with some careful prying). It's designed so that when the bulb fails, you bin the whole unit and just plug in a new one. This is an increasingly common thing now, several car makers now do the same thing with sealed exterior bulbs as well, such as side wing and mirror-mounted indicators.

That's why I decided not to try and replace the bulb inside it with an LCD bulb. Also, there's not a lot of room in the boot bulb holder.

The LED unit I purchased from SuperSkoda is a direct drop-in replacement, with the correct built-in socket for the plug on the car's wiring loom, no Canbus errors and no messy retrofitting of cables into bulb holders etc. It's a simple 2 second job to replace the old factory-fitted unit with the new one. Nice, neat and simple. With the 20% discount at the time and the fact I bought it as part of a larger order, it meant the actual cost in the end was just over £11, which I'm happy with.

what do you mean by "sealed unit"?

as i recall, the whole unit looks something like this

so, if the bulb fails you can replace just the W5W bulb

No, the unit that came out of my car (also a genuine part) is different, the black plastic back section that the lens attaches to is glued in place to create a sealed unit, rather than just clipped in place.

really?  here, i found the original image what it look like (pn 3B0947415B)

i can easily remove the black back cover and replace just the bulb...it is not glued

As I've said multiple times, mine is glued.

Either way, I'm happy with the unit I've bought from SuperSkoda, and consider it a superior component to the factory fitted light unit.
