RNS510 Faulty.

Featured Replies

Having a sort out and throwing a load of stuff out. This paperweight has been on the shelf for a long time just in case I needed a screen or front panel or suchlike, but it's time for it to go. History is it's a really old unit, the gps board failed and blew the mainboard, so those components are probably scrap. The rest is functional (I presume) but old. The dvd drive is the earlier M3.5 unit which has issues reading DL dvds sometimes, the screen has a couple of very small scratches on it which you can just about see on the photo, and the screen board has red LEDs rather than the Skoda green ones. The fascia is fairly good with no obvious scratches or skuffs, and the buttons are all good. SD card reader is also still in there and presumed functional.

As it's the older LCD screen (which I no longer offer repairs for) I have no test machine to validate the parts are functional for splitting and selling individually, so it's sold as a unit for spares.

Given that just a screen in this condition with the full front panel is for sale on Ebay at over £100 then I reckon £50 is reasonable. Offers up to and including that amount will be considered. Don't be tempted to offer more than £50 as I'll only refuse. Postage costs and arrangements will be agreed between myself and the buyer as required, and will be via recognised courier, personal collection, or local drop off by myself. A signature will be required if postal delivery is chosen. Usual postal costs are less than a tenner.
