Euro trip part 2

Featured Replies

So then DO I need extra breakdown or does my Skoda cover on a 2015 plate car get me proper roadside+recovery in France and Spain?

It not like im going over the damn Khyber pass is it!

You'll be adequately covered against breakdown and in my younger days I'd have been happy with this.

Now I'm older, I'm more worried about what'll happen if I cannot drive with SMWBO not having a licence or if I have an accident and I have to leave the car abroad. The extra cover I take is a bit belt and braces, but I feel happier for all it costs me. It all depends on what you'll feel happy with when you go abroad.

I know the insurance covers the cost of repairs in an accident, but the extra cover will cover the potential costs of leaving the car there and returning at a later date to collect it.

Some of the hills in northern spain you might think your going over the khyber pass!

Last trip i felt the clutch start to slip after 5 miles

I told the wife as we boarded the Hovercraft

it was tense for me but that Massif central didnt stop me

had the clutch done in Spain, except the clutch was fine but the shaft that pushes the release bearing was seizing in the bellhousing

a can of WD40 would have fixed it
